Ingredients
  

Dry Mix

  • 2.25 cups flour King Arthur all-purpose flour preferred
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon freshly ground preferred
  • 2.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Mix

  • 2 pcs bananas mashed until smooth
  • 2 pcs eggs room temperature, about 70°F
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cooking and Toppings

  • 0.5 oz ghee 4th & Heart original ghee preferred
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped into ¼-inch pieces
  • 1 pcs banana for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, mash the 2 bananas until smooth. Add eggs and milk, stirring until well combined.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold together gently. Stir in vanilla extract and fold in walnuts.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add ghee. Pour ⅓ cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form.
  • Flip pancakes and cook until golden brown. Transfer to a serving plate.
  • Top with banana slices and extra walnuts. Serve with syrup and butter.

Notes

These pancakes can be served immediately after cooking for the best texture and flavor.
