Preparation

• Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about a cup of the pasta water.
• In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
• To the skillet with the beef, add diced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

• Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce. Taste and adjust with more Cajun seasoning, salt, or pepper if needed.
• Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy Alfredo sauce.
