Equipment

  • Crockpot

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1.5 cups barbecue sauce Use a high-quality barbecue sauce for the best flavor.
  • 0.5 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Lightly grease the crockpot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Add the frozen meatballs directly into the crockpot and spread them evenly.
  • In a bowl, mix grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and chili sauce until smooth.
  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the meatballs and gently stir to coat.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  • Stir once or twice during cooking to ensure even coating.
  • Once heated through and the sauce thickens, adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes. Homemade meatballs can be used but should be pre-cooked for best texture.
