  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Cod and Garnish

  • 4 fillets cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
  • lime wedges for serving

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
  • Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the soy ginger glaze evenly over each fillet, making sure they are well coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and transfer the cod fillets to serving plates. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
  • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy!
