Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry

  • 1 sheet puff pastry Ensure it's cold before rolling.

Sugar and Spices

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup ground cinnamon

  • ¼ cup melted butter For coating the pastry.

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet.
  • Evenly coat the surface of the pastry with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.
  • Fold the sides of the pastry towards the center and tightly roll from both ends.
  • Cut the rolled pastry into slices approximately ½ inch thick.
  • Place the sliced palmiers cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the palmiers cool completely before serving.

Notes

You can add chopped nuts on top for extra crunch and drizzle with melted chocolate for decoration.
