Ingredients
  

For the Tea

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a pot.
  • Add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals and 1-2 thin slices of fresh ginger to the boiling water. Cover the pot and let it steep for 15-20 minutes.
  • After steeping, gradually add your desired sweetener (honey or maple syrup), stirring gently until it dissolves.
  • Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove the hibiscus petals and ginger.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to cool until cold, or pour the tea over ice to quickly chill it.
  • Once chilled, fill glasses with ice, add lime wheels, and pour the refreshing tea over the ice.

Notes

Optional: Add a sprig of fresh mint for an extra refreshing touch.
