Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry

  • 2 sheets puff pastry square shaped

Cheese

  • 100 g blue cheese crumbled
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese grated

Nuts and Seasoning

  • 50 g walnuts chopped
  • 6-8 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • sea salt
  • cracked pepper

Extras

  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat oven to 180°C (350°F) or 200°C (390°F) for non-fan forced.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon honey over each pastry sheet.
  • On each sheet, spread evenly: chopped walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, grated Parmesan, fresh thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll each sheet tightly.
  • Cut rolls in half lengthwise.
  • Twist cut pieces and form into coil shapes.
  • Place on baking paper.
  • Brush with milk.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and puffed.
  • Top with extra thyme and serve warm.

Notes

Keep pastry cold until ready to use for best puffing. Tuck filling back in after cutting if needed. Serve while warm for best taste.
