Ingredients
  

Bread and Garlic Butter

  • 4 large round bread rolls
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Spaghetti and Sauce

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and hollow out bread rolls.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
  • Brush bread with garlic butter and toast for 8–10 minutes.
  • Cook spaghetti until al dente and drain.
  • Sauté onion in olive oil, then add garlic.
  • Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  • Stir in marinara sauce and seasonings, simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Combine spaghetti with sauce.
  • Fill bread bowls with spaghetti mixture.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground meat with mushrooms or plant-based meat. Make sure to toast the bread rolls well for better structural integrity.
